With tensions running high and fashion people running around on a coffee, coke and fag diet, people are bound to crack under pressure. A couple days ago, drama hit (no pun intended) Zac Posen's stage before the show even started. Apparently, it all happened when the NYC Fire Dept had to remove 60 seats thirty minutes before the start of the show creating havoc with the seating plan and Posen's PR team HL group. Together with Naomi Campbell being "fashionably" late, president of Jalou publishing house, Marie-José Susskind-Jalou, and her daughters, Jennifer Eymere and Vanessa Bellugeon of Jalouse and L’Officiel magazines couldn't take it anymore and lashed out at Lynn Tesoro, co founder of HL group who tried to find them seats. What started out as a small argument turned into a proper catfight on one of MBFW's hottest catwalks. Eymere, proudly acknowledging herself as the person who slapped Tesoro was noted for saying, "Now you know you don’t f--k with French people."
The battle continued however, as Tesoro fought back by suing Eymere of "assault, battery, emotional distress, slander and/or libel" for a hefty sum of $1 million. Now we know better not to "f--k with fashion PR people" as well. However, if getting slapped gives you the right to sue for an investment for next season's wardrobe, lash at me with a horsewhip and a pair of manicured hands anytime.
