My new favourite has arrived! Despite how much I loved Jason Wu's collection, I'm more of a maximalist and a sucker for colour. This time around, it was fairly straightforward with sportswear combined with collages of tumblr images. Simple enough. These images were then collaged to the dresses creating a kaleidoscopic-like effect perfect for the city. The dresses cut out from bias strips and combined to form abstract patterns were to die for. Another thing that struck me was the detail that went into each look. Several of the looks were made with a lightweight fabric that resembled the one used in Alexander Wang's previous spring collection. Also worth looking at are the graphic clutches and bags that were presented in this collection. After recently moving into their new Madison Avenue address, only more good things can be expected to come.
