One of the best things that has ever happened to Hong Kong will be happening again this year during the first weekend of December as an annual music and arts festival. Last year, big names such as Benjamin Francis Leftwich, Bombay Bicycle Club and Santogold helped introduce the indie music scene and promote local indie bands such as Supper Moment and Noughts and Exes. This year's lineup has been promised to be even bigger with one of my favourite bands playing. The list so far contains Primal Scream, De La Soul, alt-J Chochukmo, Noughts and Exes and countless others who will be announced later this year. Tickets go on sale this Sunday 7 October through their website http://www.clockenflap.com/tickets. Prices for the weekend pass for adults is HKD 590 and a weekend pass for students will cost HKD 490 (Saturday/Sunday tickets are also available). Happy flapping!
