Psychiatric asylums aren't high up on my list of places to visit before I die but Interview Magazine managed to give it a fashion makeover with its boundary pushing editorial in March. Starring Crystal Renn and Karolina Kurkova, the aptly named 'Strict Institution' editorial is shot in a dark dilapidated hospital setting by risqué fashion photographer Steven Klein. Despite the grotesque poses and disturbing nature of the photo shoot, I cannot help but fall in love with the atmosphere and theatricality of the whole thing. Bondage isn't really my thing either but there's something about it that I always find very intriguing. It's not helping the fact that I just started watching American Horror Story: Asylum which is exactly what this editorial is about. What's your take on horror in fashion?
