The9thMuse

A couple of weeks ago, The9thMuse celebrated their first anniversary with a big bang at their store in the heart of Central. Unfortunately, Avicii was also playing that night so I visited the store days later for a quick chat with co-founder Jing. Like most impulsive shopping habits, The9thMuse was started on a whim by high school roommates and long time BFFs Charlotte and Jing, both of whom have separate jobs on the side.

A cosy space with an eclectic variety of jewellery, The9thMuse should really be called 7th Heaven considering it's uncanny location above the busy streets of Central. Jing explained to me that they always had a passion for style so they evidently source their products by instinct. And trust me, their selection is truly for everyone's taste. From edgy to feminine, every piece has an artisanal quality that is either vintage or designed by independent designers.

Boxed Out Chain Bracelet by Pretty Dangerous

I wasn't expecting to buy anything but this bracelet caught my eye and I couldn't help trying it on. The chains, made of brass, was done in a way that looked like knitted leather but also had a very masculine quality to it. The handcuff-looking fastener was a small but nonetheless perfect detail to complete the bracelet. Guess I found the perfect accessory for summer!
