Taken somewhere around Poho, I was given the excuse to do an outfit shoot under the pretense of completing my on-site "research" for an architecture assignment. Of course, who was I kidding with my neon orange beanie.
Emily and I shot at a location that felt extremely like a film set with the "props" that were seemingly placed outside the building for exactly that purpose. The old tenement buildings around that area carry a strong historical value to Hong Kong. Also known as 'tong lau's', these buildings are in desperate need of repair despite the characteristic essence that exemplifies Sheung Wan. It'd really be a shame to see these physical records of our past being demolished. The last thing I'd want for Hong Kong is to become another version of Singapore...
I was quite fortunate to have a camo print backpack from Wego that matched my Square Street Gram shoes from Hong Kong. Right before I went out the door, I also grabbed my neon orange beanie to complete the look. Goes well with the outfit, n'est-ce pas?
Like your accessories in this look - esp the orange beanie haha.
ReplyDeleteReally like the setting of these shots, I'll probably want to visit some more historic areas of HK while I'm there.
