[OOTD] Frozen

Perhaps the proudest moment of any shopaholic is when they hunt down the ultimate bargain at a remote sample sale before anyone else grabs hold of it. On that note, my trip to the Tung Chung outlets was definitely an unprecedented success; having found this stunning down jacket with an exaggerated profile and oversized collar. Doesn't it resemble one of those avant-garde, experimental Gareth Pugh jackets? At HKD400, there was no need for second thoughts.

I've also started the habit of using this collar chain from ASOS because it's easy to wear and quickly elevates my sweater and shirt ensembles (which, by the way, has always been my outfit of choice at school) into something more unique and fashion savvy. 

Of course, my trusty Zara hi-top sneakers are equally as important as they're my go-to shoes whenever I don't know what to wear. Similar to my collar chain, the reflective silver material brightens up any outfit no matter how plain it looks.

Just to explain the photo below, Lookbook held its annual Valentine's Day competition once again where friends or couples collaborate on a themed photo for your outfits. The more hearts you get, the higher your chances of winning. Funnily enough, Ems told me about it the day we shot our outfits. Blithely unaware of the deadline, we were shocked to find the competition already closed the following day. As they always say, there's always a next time...
