Street Style Saturday's | The Poet in Disguise

Look carefully and the print on this gentleman's shirt is not what it seems to be. What I initially thought was a peacock feather is simply a piece of dry grass with some flowers by its side. I find it quite amusing how something so banal could appear that extravagant, especially when it comes to fashion.

 It's worth emphasising that despite all the street style "peacocks" that seek to gain '15 minutes of fame', we sometimes forget that style can also be achieved with a 'less is more' attitude. At first glance, this gentleman's hat acts as a simple but effective accessory to entice passersby with modest subtlety. My eye is then drawn towards the smaller details such as his nautical style bracelet and his metal-accented monk strap shoes. Contrasted with his soft, oversized shirt and harem pants, this gentleman is a poet in disguise.
