Facetune
Healing Brush, Clone Stamp, Dodge/Burn and Liquify all in one app
Here's something that will give Photoshop a run for its money. Introducing the Facetune app that has all the functions you'll ever need on Photoshop but without the Adobe price tag and the steep learning curve. Tools such as Patch allow you to sample another part of the face and 'patch' it onto the blemish, giving off a more natural look as opposed to a completely airbrushed face. Eye bags can also be diminished with Tones, lightening the colour of your frightening pockets. Feeling a bit puffy? The Reshape tool will have your jawline as sharp as a razor in a matter of seconds. The editing is quite addicting if I'm completely honest - just don't say I didn't warn you. HK$ 24, available on iTunes and Play Store.

Somebody
Be the next Marina Abramović
Ever had the trouble of delivering a message in person? Fear not with Somebody - an app designed to have someone nearby your recipient deliver the message on your behalf! Whether it's a complete stranger or a friend in disguise, you message will be read out with your written message and the actions that you prescribe with it. In collaboration with Miu Miu (of course), artist Miranda July went all the way to ensure the interface and graphics were easy-to-use and fun to look at. If you're still a little sceptical about the whole concept, the short film by July for Miu Miu's acclaimed Women's Tales series will help illustrate the tenderness of modern relationships and the powerful functions of the app.
Available on iTunes.
